MOSIX is a management system targeted for HPC on Linux clusters and multi-clusters. It can be viewed as a multi-cluster operating system. In MOSIX, there is no need to modify or link applications with any library, copy files or login to remote nodes, or even assign processes to different nodes. It is all done automatically, similar to a single computer with multiple processors; just fork and forget.
