Asterisk Phonebook is a common shared phone book directory built for Asterisk PBX. It stores names and numbers into a database which is used by clients. In addition, the central directory can be opened by snom phones, in which the XML-side of the Asterisk PBX is fetched. Incoming calls are displayed with their name, and number-to-name resolution will look up from the local and global phone books. Calls from PSTN resolve through the landline provider.
