Lzip 1.3 (Stable branch)
Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on theLZMA algorithm, with very safe integrity checkingand a user interface almost identical to the oneof bzip2. Lzip decompresses almost as fast as gzipand compresses better than bzip2, which makes itwell suited for software distribution.License: GNU General Public License v3Changes:
This version automatically chooses the smallestpossible dictionary size for each file duringcompression, saving memory during decompression.This version is able to decompress version 1 filesthat will be produced by lzip 1.4. Version 1 filesinclude the size of the compressed data. This willfacilitate safe recovery of undamaged members frommultimember files.Image

NAME

       ebndaily - get stats for ebnetd and send it to admins

SYNOPSIS

       ebndaily [option...] mail-address...

OPTIONS

       -a INTEGER  --ages INTEGER
	      keep INTEGER ages of old syslog files (default: 7)

       -c TYPE	--compressor TYPE
	      how to compress old syslog files; compress, gzip, bzip2 or none (default: none)

       -h  --help
	      display this help, then exit

       -l FILE	--log-file FILE
	      specify a syslog file (default: /var/log/ebnetd.log)

       -n  --no-mail
	      do not send report mail

       -v  --version
	      display version number, then exit

       -1  --fast
	      compress faster when using gzip or bzip2

       -9  --best
	      compress better when using gzip or bzip2

   Arguemnts:
       mail-address
	      receipient of a report from ebndaily.
