GNU Zile 2.3.0 (Default branch)

Image GNU Zile (Zile is Lossy Emacs) is a small, fast, and powerful Emacs clone. It is useful for small footprint installations (e.g. on floppy disk) or quick editing sessions. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes:
This release continues the code cleanup and portability fixes started in 2.2.60. gnulib is now used extensively, and about 20% of the code base has been removed. The new minor version number reflects the magnitude of the change. A DejaGnu test suite has been added, which tests almost all the interactive commands. Many small bugs have been fixed; some small limitations of Zile with respect to Emacs have been removed. Users are encouraged to upgrade; however, cautious users may want to wait for further 2.3.x releases, or for a suitable length of time to elapse. Image

Update-AUCTeX-elisp(8) Debian GNU/Linux Manual Update-AUCTeX-elisp(8)

NAME
update-auctex-elisp - Update AUCTeX automatically generated TeX macros and LaTeX styles data SYNOPSIS
update-auctex-elisp [--daemon] [--no-act] [FLAVOR ...] DESCRIPTION
The update-auctex-elisp script updates the automatically generated TeX and LaTeX data used by AUCTeX and stored in /var/lib/auctex/<FLA- VOR>, where <FLAVOR> stands for any valid installed Emacs flavor. It is called automatically by the Debian auctex package (via dpkg triggers) whenever new (La)TeX macros and style files are installed in the TeX and METAFONT system trees; beside, it is called on GNU AUCTeX and GNU Emacs flavor upgrades and installations, to ensure up to date parsing. It may and should also be called manually after additions to the local TeX and METAFONT system tree. If no arguments are specified, update-auctex-elisp caters to every supported GNU Emacs flavor installed on the system; else it updates only the specified flavors, if they are installed. OPTIONS
--daemon Detach from the terminal and run in the background. --no-act Describe what would be done without doing nothing. EXIT STATUS
The update-auctex-elisp command returns 0 on success and a positive integer on errors. FILES
/var/lib/auctex: the hierarchy containing the byte-compiled files. BUGS
