ImageFree-SA is tool for statistical analysis of daemons' log files, similar to SARG. Its main advantages over SARG are much better speed (7x-20x), more support for reports, and W3C compliance of generated HTML/CSS reports. It can be used to help control traffic usage, to control Internet access security policies, to investigate security incidents, to evaluate server efficiency, and to detect troubles with configuration.License: GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:
The license was changed to the GPLv3+. Experimental support for NetCache and Blue Coat logs via Squid 2.x native log format has been added. The log format autodetection feature has been removed because it appeared useless and slow. A 'skip_errors' experimental option for skipping erroneous log file records has been added. To specify a year value for syslog-based log formats, a SYSLOGYEAR macro was added. Other small fixes were implemented.Image

NAME

       NSTRSCHED - number of STREAMS scheduler daemons to run

DESCRIPTION

       This  tunable  defines  the  number  of multiprocessor (MP) STREAMS scheduler daemons to run on systems containing more than one processor.
       Note that uniprocessor (UP) systems do not use an MP scheduler daemon, but both MP and UP systems always  have  one  UP	STREAMS  scheduler
       (supsched).

       If  the	tunable  value is set to zero, the system determines how many daemons to run, based on the number of processors in the system.	If
       the tunable value is set to a positive, non-zero value, that is the number of smpsched daemons that will be created on an MP system.

       Note: This tunable is for use by specific HP products only.  It may be removed in future HP-UX releases.

       Any customer.

   Restrictions on Changing
       Changes to this tunable take effect at next reboot.
