The vector text handling now supports the whole Unicode range via UTF-8 (formerly only the ASCII sub-set was supported). The econvert command line interface was fixed to parse newlines in string arguments. The Floyd-Steinberg implementation was improved to reduce color bleeding, the zlib compression factor can now be controlled for writing PNG images, and a buffer-overrun was fixed in the XPM decoder.
