Simple Sockets 1.2.1 (Default branch)

Simple Sockets is a cross platform socket library.It is different from other socket libraries whichmix the application protocol and transportprotocol layer (i.e. TCP sockets, UDP sockets,HTTP sockets, etc). This library focusesspecifically on the transport protocols. Itsfeatures include blocking/non-blocking sockets,polling, thread safety, and signal safety.

NAME

       Sockets::pending - Check for pending data on a socket

SYNOPSIS

       Bool pending( Socket s, Int timeout=1000000 )

ARGUMENTS

       s The socket

       timeout The time to wait (in microseconds) before returning false. This argument may be omitted for a default of 1000000 (1 second)

DESCRIPTION

       Returns whether data is pending on a socket
