safe-rm is intended to prevent the accidentaldeletion of importantfiles by replacing /bin/rm with a wrapper whichchecks the givenarguments against a configurable blacklist offiles and directoriesthat should never be removed. Users who attempt todelete one of theseprotected files or directories will not be able todo so and will beshown a warning message instead. Protected pathscan be set both at thesite and user levels.

The main change in this release is a fix for a bug that was preventing the root directory from being added to the list of protected paths. Safe-rm is now able to protect you from the infamous "rm -rf /".
