Postfilter is a Perl filter for Internet Net News (innd) that checks all messages sent by local users searching for spam and invalid content. Although it's designed for large sites that need a complex tool, it could also be used by local or private servers.

This release uses 'delete $hdr{'Header'};' instead of '$hdr{'Header'} = undef;'. The behavior of postfilter when an error is found inside banlist.conf is configurable. The maximum difference between the number of groups in Followup-To and in Newsgroups can be set. Articles that include the same groups inside Newsgroups: and Followup-To: can be rejected. Articles that come from TOR exit nodes can be filtered. A new tool, postfilter-legal.pl, can query and expire legal.log.
