XBMC Media Center 8.10 Beta 1 (Default branch)

Image XBMC Media Center (formerly Xbox Media Center) is a multimedia player/jukebox application for Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, and Xbox. It can be used to play or view most common video, audio, and picture formats such as MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, XviD, MP3, AAC, JPG, and GIF directly from a CD or DVD in the Xbox DVD-ROM drive or from the Xbox hard drive. XBMC can also stream files over a local network or from the Internet. Playlist and slideshow functions, a weather forecast, and many audio visualizations are also included. This version now runs on a variety of platforms. A new skin was added. "XBMC Live" was added, which is a bootable CD that gives users the opportunity to try XBMC on their computer without installing it. XBMC for Mac now has initial support for integrating iTunes and iPhoto media into XBMC. Image

yauap - a simple command line audio player based on the GStreamer multimedia framework. SYNOPSIS
yauap [options] [URL1] [URL2] ... DESCRIPTION
Yauap a simple command line audio player based on the GStreamer multimedia framework. It provides a simple command line interface to play any audio file or stream supported by GStreamer framework installed on you system. Basic functions can be controlled via key bindings (unless -slave option was given), which are specified in the section Key Bindings below. Yauap also supports remote control of its func- tions via DBus. You must specify URL(s) to play unless you run yauap with the -noexit option. Options -h Display help -cdrom-device device Specify the CDROM device to play audio CD. -slave Start in slave mode (i.e. with key bindings disabled) -noexit Do not exit when the play-list is finished. Useful if you intend to initiate playback of the audio file/stream via DBus interface. Key Bindings SPACE Pause/Resume playback <- -> Seek backward/forward 10 seconds. up and down Seek backward/forward 1 minute. q / ESC Quit / and * Decrease/increase volume. AUTHORS
