fsniper is a tool that monitors a given set ofdirectories for new or modified files. Then, basedon the file's type or name, it invokes a script tobe run on that file. Directories are monitoredusing inotify, instead of simply continuouslypolling them for changes. Common uses includemaking a single download directory for all thingsfrom a Web browser and having semi-intelligentscripts figure out what to do with those files.You write the scripts yourself.
