gedit-plugins-extra is a huge, unofficial set of third-party plugins for gedit (2.13+) and some styles for GTKSourceView (2.0+). Plugins include advanced bookmarks, advanced editing, align, auto tab, browser preview, classbrowser, currentline, deletion, doc prop, edit shortcut, find in documents, latex, line spacing, python outline, reopen tabs, scratch tab, snap open, splitview2, todo, trailsave, and wordcompletion. Styles include aurora-borealis, babymate, blue-dream, chela, darkmate, dazzl, dessert, emacs, emacsdark, fluffy, textmate, tinge, and turbo. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes:
The browser and preview plugins were updated. The LaTeX and deletion plugins were added. The Aurora Borealis and Blue Dream color schemes were added. Image

I am trying to compile the gedit plugins with gedit 2.16.0 and RHEL 5.7 (arch: i386). gswitchit-plugins-capplet - administer plugins for the Keyboard Indicator panel application SYNOPSIS
gswitchit-plugins-capplet [gnome-std-options] DESCRIPTION
gswitchit-plugins-capplet is generally used by the Keyboard Indicator panel application, but can also be invoked from the command line. gswitchit-plugins-capplet administers the plugins that are used by the Keyboard Indicator panel application. OPTIONS
The following options are supported: gnome-std-optionStandard options available for use with most GNOME applications. See gnome-std-options(5) for more information. EXAMPLES
