Net::DRI is an object-oriented Perl library with auniform API to access services from domain nameregistries/registrars/resellers. With protocols(RRI, RRP, EPP, XCP), it handles EU, BE, SE, PL,WS, MOBI, AERO, CAT, US, COM, NET, ORG, BIZ, INFO,COOP, LU, AT, FR, NAME, NU, ASIA, TV, CC, AU, UK,NO, DE, CH, LI, HN, SC, VC, AG, BZ, LC, MN, ME,CZ, TRAVEL, PRO, JOBS, and BR, with each TLD's ownextensions. It can also perform Whois queries,domain availability checks (DAS), ENUMregistrations (IENUM +43) and validations, andoperations through the APIs of BookMyName, OVH,Gandi, and OpenSRS.License: GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:
This release adds or enhances support for thefollowing TLDs: BR, JOBS, PRO, AT, NO, and PL. Italso adds US for whois, an HTTP/HTTPS transport,and support for OpenSRS resellers with XCP overHTTPS. This release has many small enhancementsfor EPP correctness and speed; draft EPPextensions for FR are also included. This versionalso adds an experimental shell, and includes manyinternal enhancements to make creation ofextensions easier.Image

NAME

       Net::DRI::BaseClass - Superclass of various classes inside Net::DRI

VERSION

       This documentation refers to Net::DRI::BaseClass version 1.1

SYNOPSIS

       Not directly used by users, this is a purely internal class, never visible to the outside of Net::DRI.

DESCRIPTION

       This is the superclass of some Net::DRI classes, providing various useful functions.

EXAMPLES

       No user examples.

/METHODS
       This is mostly a pure virtual superclass.

DIAGNOSTICS

       None.

CONFIGURATION AND ENVIRONMENT

       None.

DEPENDENCIES

       This modules has to be used inside the Net::DRI framework and needs the following composants:

       Net::DRI::Exception

INCOMPATIBILITIES

       None

BUGS AND LIMITATIONS

       No known bugs. Please report problems to author (see below) or use CPAN RT system. Patches are welcome.

       This should probably be better done with Moose and roles. It would however require a major overhaul to everything inside Net::DRI, so this
       would probably not happen very soon, maybe with a Perl6 port.

       This class was introduced very late in Net::DRI, multiple parts of this framework should be modified to take advantage of this class.
