Danlann is a command line photo Web gallerygenerator. It takes text gallery description filesand photos as an input and produces a nice lookingWeb gallery of photos. A generated Web gallery canbe efficiently uploaded to a hosting server usingrsync or an FTP client with mirror capability.

Pages are generated using the StringTemplatelibrary, and this allows easier templatecustomization. A photo index is generated withouttables on the album page. Links in album and photodescriptions are parsed and converted into HTMLlinks. CSS simplification and improvements weremade. EXIF displaying was reimplemented usingJQuery. The idea of multiple photo views wasdiscarded.
