StringParser_BBCode is a PHP class that parsesBBCodes with a real parser and not just regularexpressions. This ensures that the HTML elementsare correctly nested. It does not define anyspecial codes, but allows the programmer to do soherself. It provides many features, such as theautomatic detection and handling of paragraphs andthe ability to apply different so-called parserfunctions to different portions of the text thatis to be parsed.
