PeerStream Audio Video Streaming Server 4.72 (A/V Streaming Server branch)

PeerStream Audio Video Streaming server is a lightweight, scalable and multi-purpose streaming server for broadcasting nearly every known audio and video format. It supports all major formats and can be configured to use other, not directly supported media types. Encoding of live data is also possible. Streaming via unicast, multicast, podcast, UPnP shares and bandwidth-saving via a peer-to-peer-network is supported. License: Other/Proprietary License Changes:

Video/Audio Streaming in C?

Hi Folks, I have just joined, and have a problem... I am doing my thesis and need to transfer a file from server to the client, while doing that I want to stream the file ( the files being video/audio files). I am unable to figure out abt the streaming part...if there exist any libraries... (0 Replies)

MediaInfo supplies technical and tag information about a video or audio file What information can I get from MediaInfo? - General: title, author, director, album, track number, date, duration... - Video: codec, aspect, fps, bitrate... - Audio: codec, sample rate, channels, language, bitrate... - Text: language of subtitle - Chapters: number of chapters, list of chapters What format does MediaInfo support? - Video: MKV, OGM, AVI, DivX, WMV, QuickTime, Real, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (VOB)... - Video Codecs: DivX, XviD, MSMPEG4, ASP, H.264, AVC... - Audio: OGG, MP3, WAV, RA, AC3, DTS, AAC, M4A, AU, AIFF... - Subtitles: SRT, SSA, ASS, SAMI...
