Faust AUdio STreams is an expressive functionalprogramming languagefor realtime audio signal processing. The Faustcompiler translatesDSP specifications into efficient C++ code. Avariety of platformsand plugin formats are supported. A single Faustspecification can beused to easily generate JACK and ALSAapplications, as well as LADSPA,MAX/MSP, PD, Q, SC, and VST plugins.
