get_iplayer 1.42 (Default branch)

get_iplayer allows a user to download or stream any BBC iPlayer TV program (H.264/Quicktime), ITVplayer TV programs (ASF/WMV), Hulu TV programs (FLV/AVI), iPlayer radio programs (MP3/AAC/RealAudio), and BBC podcasts (MP3/AAC). It downloads Hulu and iPlayer subtitles. It supports Flash iPlayer and Hulu downloads. It has full PVR functionality for automatic searching, queuing, and downloading. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes:
Updated support for BBC Radio AAC/AAC+ audio streams after they changed their content delivery network provider. The --isodate option has been added to change the date in the filename to ISO8601 format: YYYY-MM-DD. A bug where the LWP HTTP proxy was being set unnecessarily has been fixed. The advanced option --use-rtmpdump-exitcode has been added to use the rtmpdump exit code to decide whether a stream downloaded correctly. Image
