Computer Unexpected mapped volume in Solaris 10

Hi everybody,
I'm facing a little trouble with my system. I have a SPARC M4000 server, which connected to a SAN with 2 Brocade 300 Switches and 1 STK 6140. The M4000 has 2 FC HBA cards, one port per card. Each card connect to one switch as follows...

____________M4000____________
___FC-HBA 1________FC-HBA 2___
.........|..........................|..........
....SAN Sw 1..............SAN Sw 2....
.........|..........................|..........
____CTRL A__________CTRL B____
___________STK 6140___________

OK. The problem is when I mapped 2 (logical) volumes from STK 6140 to the M4000 server, I got 6 mapped volumes show in the format's ouput :

Code:
bash-3.00# format

Let's forget the label errors.
I have enabled the multipath function on Solaris by using

# stmsboot -D fd -e

I wanna know that what are the 4 volumes marked with SUN-UniversalXport-0715 (LUN 31) ? and how to get rid of them.
I searched and found somebody had same trouble. Someone tried to delete them (the unwanted volumes) and the problem's gone (of course), but I don't want to do that without understanding what they are.

Please advise, thank you all.

Its ok.
-UniversalXport- what you see here is similar to EMC's what they call "gatekeeper".And if you'ev enabled multipathing, you will see 1 path, if you've disabled multpathing, you will see 2 paths
