is it possible to have 2 cgi directories ??

Hi,

Im trying to duplicate a few CGI scripts however the scripts need to be in different directories. does HTTP allow this?, can i just add another directory like the following:

I get the an error when i try this

[Thu Sep 23 09:43:11 2010] [error] [client 10.24.28.99] Options ExecCGI is off in this directory: /var/www/html/rrdtool/sm/index.pl, referer: http://web/rrdtool/sm/

Code:
<Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin/">
#<Directory "/var/www/html/">
    AllowOverride None
    Options None FollowSymLinks +ExecCGI
    Options +ExecCGI
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
</Directory>
##########################################
    <Directory /var/www/html/graphs/>
      AddHandler cgi-script .pl
      Options +ExecCGI
      DirectoryIndex index.pl
    </Directory>

###### 2nd cgi directory ###################
  <Directory /var/www/html/rrdtool/sm/graphs/>
      AddHandler cgi-script .pl
      Options +ExecCGI
      DirectoryIndex index.pl
    </Directory>

Any suggestions

Many thanks

the error is about /var/www/html/rrdtool/sm/ directory, which isn't defined here (in your apache conf file above)

CGI passing arrays/hashes to another CGI script

If I have a Perl CGI script (script01), which fills an array(s) with information and outputs a HTML page with a link to another CGI page (script02); is there anyway to pass the array(s) from "script01" to "script02" when the page visitor clicks the link? Hope that makes sense! :) (2 Replies)
