Solaris

Hi,

We have Two solaris-9 servers with same H/W configruation ,running same application but at different timings .On one server everything is working fine while on other we are observing only high pagein .We have obeserved these server for some days but no extra processes are running on both servers for that specific time.

Please help to find out the solution for this ,Thanks in advance.

As per the given URl,If condsider Veritas bug then one without MP1 patch for VxVm is working fine.Only difference i can see it is Lower Kernal version of the high pagein server still is having updated 122300-08 patch.

It would probably help at this point if you were to post an example of the vmstat numbers from your machine. There have over time been a few other vmstat bugs which have meant the the pagein and pageout columns run together and become one number.
