Cron job

I am trying to set up a simple cron job but it won't work
Is there a special directory that the target program has to run from ??
I noticed that all the other jobs in the file were in /usr/local/bin but even when I put my target script in there it didn't run. Anyone have any idea why ??

Thanks

the PATH settings for cron jobs are often not the same as for your account, causing it to not find the programs it needs to run. Make sure to set up a sane PATH in your your script before it does anything else.
