just source in your params file

- Assuming your parameter file is in the proper shell format ( NAME=Value ) ,
all you have to do is to "source in" this file to your shell script ;

suppose your params file is called my_parms , and it contains :
Code:
WORKDIR=/tmp/whatever
SOMEPARM=123

and your runnable script is in the same directory , you place the line below in the beginning of your runnable script :
Code:
. ./my_parms

- this will make all the variables defined in your params file known to your script ;

Good Luck, and Success !

Botao
