mget based on date

i want to copy files from one server to another based on particular date using mget command . any help

In ftp try 'ls -l' to see if the host returns date information first.
If it does try this -

echo "
open myhost
username password
cd /somewhere
ls -l
bye
" | ftp -n > listfile

Next grep for the date you want in list file, then create another here document to ftp over to the host and get the files you want. mget does not do filetimes on the remote host.
