Bug replace rsync

Hi,

I'd like to replace rsync by another program without data encryption.

I still need data control, but the transfert is secure and I don't care if people
can see data traffic.

Do you know a standard app that I can setup on a Linux Debian System for
that purpose. ssh is taking to much resource on my system.

Thanks
Smilie

Hi,
You can of course still use rsync (it's a killer app, it really is!) but set up to use rsh instead of ssh, but I can't see anyone recommending that. But it's possible. And rcp is the pure unencrypted way for copy between systems. Or even uucp Smilie
In what way does ssh eat resources? I haven't experienced that. Of course it has to do some calculations but it's not that bad is it?

rsync don't have and don't need(if you want) data encryption, please read rsync man
