Hi,

Any suggestion to get the AWK output with time in each line ? I want to have the vmstat in solaris with time append to everyline like this:

kthr memory page disk faults cpu
r b w swap free re mf pi po fr de sr s0 s1 s3 sd in sy cs us sy id
0 0 0 10409640 2305632 46 78 114 1 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 86 344 411 1 1 98 15:35:00
0 0 0 10400224 2274704 16 20 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 319 246 356 0 0 100 15:45:00
0 0 0 10400224 2274704 76 281 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 1641 485 1 2 96 15:55:00

The vmstat in AIX has the -t parameter that can do this but not in Solaris.

You can give delay and count as parameters, e.g. this example displays 12 lines with a delay of 5 minutes with the actual time:
