Shell script to chown for specific user

Hello All,

Can anybody provide any information on a shell script to change ownership for a specific user 'nuucp'. I know i can use chown -R to change the owner but i have lots of files and directories owned by this user. I need to make sure that other users in the directory aren't effected especially root.

Thanks,

Al

Or more succinctly

Code:
find / -user username -exec chown otheruser {} \;

Also, the rm will not take place if the script is interrupted. It's probably better to avoid using a temporary file if you can. (find | while read i or find | xargs are good workarounds if find -exec is unavailable or too cumbersome.)
