help using awk command

hi i have a problem solving this:

cat file1
1

the file content may be changed to 2,4 or 5.
cat file2

1:20
2:30
4:50
1:50
5:90
1:10

output:
1:80 (20+50+10)

i used a command:

sed 's/:/ /g' file2 | awk '/1/ {x[$1]+=$2;} END { for (n in x) printf "%d:%d\n",n,x[n]}'

output is 1:80.but we are not getting for 2 and 4 again..

so it should get the output by sending input of file1 to file2 and display the o/p according to the content of i/p file.

how can we input a file1 contents to file2 by using awk for second file.

use
awk -F':' '/1/ {x[$1]+=$2;} END { for (n in x) printf "%d:%d\n",n,x[n]}' file2 instead of sed.

thanks for the reply.

But if a file1 is changed to 2 then we shd get the sum which is related to 2 is 2:30.For this we need to pipe the content of file1 to file2 right.

is there any script which takes i/p from the file1 and gives the o/p related to file2.

ie
if i give 1 in file1 then o/p shd be 1:80(20+50+10)
if i give 2 in file1 then o/p shd be 2:30
..
...
....

awk -F: '{x[$1]+=$2;} END { for (n in x) printf "%d:%d\n",n,x[n]}' file2 | grep "`cat file1`:"
