To operate MENU via script

Hi,

I run this utility very frequently. This utility displays some 5 options and again inturn these options have few more option to select.
For Eg : It looks like this

1. User Control
2. Locking and Waiting Statistics
3. Block Access
4. Record Locking Table
5. Activity
Enter your selection:

How do I paas the number through the script.

I need to write a script to select the options that I am interested in and write the output to a file.

Help me pls!!!

Thanks ,

What utility? There is no standard MENU (or even menu) utility.

How does the utility pass the selection to the script?

Have you read its documentation?

Why not just write it all in a script? It's quite easy to do.
