I having an issue when trying to run snmpwalk, so the following command it returns an error:
bash-3.00# /usr/sfw/bin/snmpwalk -v 2c -c public localhost sysDescr.0
Timeout: No Response from localhost
bash-3.00#
I have checked also:
bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep sma

I need to set timeout of login session of a user if a user is idle for some time.

I'm running CentOS 5 as guest using VMware player. My host is Windows Xp. I'm running tftp server in CentOS. I have disabled firewall in both windows and CentOS. I wrote a server which creates a thread for every client connection. I have to include timeout function that will kill the server thread if the client doesn't respond for specific time. That too using signal(SIGALRM). For this i am using alarm() function.

NAME
WWW::CNic::Response::PollTransfers - a WWW::CNic::Response object for WWW::CNic::Response.
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
Response module for listing all pending domain transfers via the CentralNic Toolkit (http://toolkit.centralnic.com/). This module inherits
all but one of its methods from the base class, WWW::CNic::Response.
METHODS
my @transfers = $response->transfers;
This returns an array of hashrefs containing information about a transfer. The hashref has the following keys:
domain
initiated (timestamp)
actiondate (timestamp)
auto (integer)
gaining_id (only present for outgoing transfers)
gaining_email (only present for outgoing transfers)
losing_id (only present for incoming transfers)
losing_email (only present for incoming transfers)
