First you have to find what time is 30 minutes befor the start of the script and that depend on your OS.
Try to post a data sample.

Check Feasibility of the option '--mtime' of the command 'find'

i m using IBM AIx 3.5

since my script will be crontab to run every 30 mins. so if it starts let say 17:00. then it should grep from 16:30 till 17:00

and when 2nd time its i.e. at 17:35
it should grep from 17:05 till 17:35

here i m expecting the script to run for 5mins.

the above was just an example.
