hiding sqplus paramters

Any have know how to hide the user/password paramters when doing a ps -ef when running
sqlplus username/password@db from a script.

You can't.

Try something like this:

Code:
sqlplus <<EOF
user/password@schema
select table_name from all_tables;
quit

EOF

Does it show up then?

sqlplus /nolog
connect username/password@db
