my personal favorite way to look for big big mp3 & movie files under /export/home that the users like to keep.

du -a /export/home | awk '$1 > 10000 { print $2}'

anything bigger than '5 digit' it will list out, then I will print it out in a report and confront the guilty users with it, normally they will embarassingly 'back down' when they see you know where to find their secret stash of porn flicks. Smilie
