hello,
we try to delete old files from ftp server. we are using that script.

I'm using Solaris 10. I want to restrict users from executing this dangerous command.
rm -rf *
But they should be able to perform the below actions:
rm -rf *.*
rm -rf filename
rm -rf directory

I am trying to FTP files to a Windows server through my Linux machine. I have setup the file transfer with no problems but am having problem deleting those files from the Linux box. I want users in a certain group to be restricted to their home directory. So that they have full access to all files and folders in their home directory but the cant go to any directory above.
