How to call Two different script in parallel
Dear all

I am having two shell script..
test1.sh
test2.sh

I want to call these two script in parallel, not one-by-one.
not using crontab,only using another script.

Try :

test1.sh &   # Start script 1 in background
test2.sh &   # Start script 2 in background
wait         # wait until completion of the two scripts

or as follows...

test1.sh &
test2.sh
wait

will do the same with one less process.

Digging up a post from the grave, thanks google, will this work with an unlimited number of scripts? like this:

test1.sh & 
test2.sh &
...
test 50.sh &
wait

Will that wait command, wait until all 50 scripts are done before it goes to the next line?
