You can try this
Hi ,
i suppose that you are trying to create a report that is in csv format and it should automatically get converted such that the each column of your file should fit into the each column in the spreadsheet
Please try this code and reply with your valuable suggestion

make any file e.g abc and write this code in it :---------

RS = "\n"
OFS="\t"
}
{
print $1, $2, $3, $4, $5
}
then do this with your csv file

Hi Ygor,

I looked the csv file. it is showing ok. but, when i open the xls file in excel
only the first column is not coming correctly. here is the examples
first column name

aaaa.bbbb.cccc.ddddd
zzz_xxx.

it suppose to be like this aaaa.bbbb.cccc.dddddzzz_xxx.

only first column and rest of them are fine.
this is little bit lonest column in my report.
can you tell me how do i increse the atleast first column length only
on this code bellow. rest of the column are ok.

i need to increas the col length to 45 postions on right side.

You can set the width attribute of the TD tag.
