Hi,

I have the similar problem.
So can u plz. let me know how did u call url from shell script finally.
Also I need to pass some parameter on that url from my script.

So can u plz. let me know the syntax of the same.

Not Working
Hello, the below mentioned statement is not working for me

(sleep 4; echo "GET /ctxroot/abc/servlet?task=xyz HTTP/1.1"; echo ""; sleep 5) | telnet abc-mmm.com 80

when I try to modify it according to my requirment

Please help

Do you have wget, curl ,lynx or other tools that can get web pages for you? If you can, use them. If not, what programming languages can you use? If you can use Python, here's a little something

Hello ghostdog74,

I dont have anything like curl, wget or anything else installed. I want to pass the URL and get the page content. I can only use PERL or UNIX Shell Script. Please help...

Do you have LWP for Perl then? You can use it to get web pages. See here
