Code:
$NF=sprintf("%0.2f",$NF);

sprintf(format,expression1,expression2,...) returns the formatted string as its function value

%f Floating-point format ([-]ddd.precision).
Default is right alignment.If you use - then the field is left aligned
ddd - number of digits

0.2 Here digit is zero and if the floating point number does not contain integer part zero will be added to integer part and 2 is for the precision
Input
Code:
RECORD ID,CLIENT,CUSTOMER NAME,2874,00:00,2, .51,6.00
RECORD ID,CLIENT,CUSTOMER NAME,2870,01:65,1, .39,4.60

Output
Code:
RECORD ID,CLIENT,CUSTOMER NAME,2874,00:00,2,0.51,6.00
RECORD ID,CLIENT,CUSTOMER NAME,2870,01:65,1,0.39,4.60
