grep and sed commanda

Hi,

Can anybody help me with these problems as I could not able to figure it out.

1) what will be the effect of this command
sed 's/Goo Morning[1-9][1-9]*\.[1-9][1-9]*/(&)/g' first

2)what will be matched by the following regular expressions
a) EFG*efg*
b) *SM*
c)..$$

3) how do find the list of all lines in /etc/passwd thta have bash as the login for class MPS133

For problem with this command grep "/bin/bash" /etc/passwd i am getting all the lines with bash as login. But i only want class MPS133 class but not other class.


I would really appreciate if anybody help with these.
