use your crontab file

Code:
crontab -e

Computer

Sometimes crontab -e doesnt work .. another alternative is like
more crontab -l > cron.txt
then
vi cron.txt

'make changes you want to and save this text file .
and at the end do something like this

contab cron.txt

Um, where is the output going to go for your /bin/ls command?
How do you "know" it's not working?

Make your cron task command output the results to a file so you can troubleshoot better.

47 2 29 12 * /bin/ls &> /var/log/lsout.txt

That should be:
ls -l > /var/log/lsout.txt &

Edit: NM, I added a space into your post when reading that.
