kayarsenal, no I am not suggesting that you change my script. Change your script instead to format your own variables. Something like:
$ typeset -Z2 month day
$ ./datecalc -a 2001 1 1 + 370
2002 1 6
$ ./datecalc -a 2001 1 1 + 370 | read year month day
$ echo $year $month $day
2002 01 06
$

Now $month and $day have the leading zeros you wanted.
# 10

Can someone draw up a script that for every file, folder and subfolder and files that will copy the creation date over top of the modified date??
