The problem I am getting is: when I run
FILE_BASE=${i##*:${HOME_DIR}/} line,
I get output as
5.3/examples/activities/soap/interop/dotNet/Server.zip 0
5.3/examples/activities/soap/interop/dotNet/SoapProcess.cs 0
5.3/examples/activities/soap/interop/dotNet/SoapProcess.exe 0
There are '0's coming aswell.
In the same way, when I run
FILE_SIZE_1=${i%%*:}
I get output
7686:/home/rpmuser/COB_bw_5.3.0/5.3/lib/log4j.properties 0
510874:/home/rpmuser/COB_bw_5.3.0/5.3/lib/tibsoap.jar 0
2013:/home/rpmuser/COB_bw_5.3.0/5.3/lib/com/tibco/deployment/bwengine.xml 0
168:/home/rpmuser/COB_bw_5.3.0/5.3/lib/designer.policy
Maybe if you can get some idea.
Also, the commands you gave me as alternative, they work fine along with print, but when I try to include in your script as
FILE_BASE="${i}" | awk -F: '{print $2}' instead of -
print "${i}" | awk -F: '{print $2}'
I am getting a blank output which makes me still
??
