crontab entry removal

#!/bin/ksh

CRONFILE=./cronfile
CRONJOB='scriptx.ksh'

# List the current cron jobs to temp file
crontab -l > tmp.file
# get the cron job I want to remove
tmp=`grep "$CRONJOB" $CRONFILE | cut -d'/' -f1`
echo "Display Value: $tmp"
# build the command line
LINEXE="sed -e '/${tmp}/d' <./tmp.file"
echo "Command Line: ${LINEXE}"
`"${LINEXE}"`

I get an error "not found"

But if I copy the output of the echo it works perfectly.
Help!

Try this:

eval "${LINEXE}"

instead of:

`"${LINEXE}"`

Regards.
