Solaris "ksh" Parameter Not Set
Getting the following when I try to set -u or set -o nounset in ksh on Solaris. Anyone ever seen this? Using an account I just built so everything is default and default shell is set to ksh.

Ah! Your a genius. Something is wrong in the PS1 and is not set! Thanks, solved.

Ah yes, the bug is in Solaris 11 /etc/ksh.kshrc when LC_ALL is unset and -u is set.
As a fix, add a +u to the following line

         PS1='$(set +o xtrace +o errexit

The options stays within the subshell $( ) so does not impact your current shell.
