Unused ": value not completely converted" and round value issue

I am trying to convert decimal value of last two digit to round but fail.
I am using this method
Code:
awk '/HORIZONTAL/,/VERTICAL/' $1 | sed '1d;$d' | awk -F " " '{print $2}'| xargs printf '%1.1f\n'| grep -oP '\S+' | tr -s "\n" " " |sed 's/ *$//'

Input

Code:
0.01
0.02
0.03
0.05
0.07
0.10
0.14
0.17
0.22
0.27
0.32
0.38
0.45
0.52
0.59
0.67

out put

Code:
0.0 0.0 0.0 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.2 0.2 0.3 0.3 0.4 0.4 0.5 0.6 0.7

expected ouput

Code:
0.0 0.0 0.0 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.2 0.2 0.3 0.3 0.4 0.5 0.5 0.6 0.7

in same script other issue is when i am executing script getting ": value not completely converted" these multiple lines but if i redirect out in file it is not coming but shows on screen.

It's difficult to believe that your method applied to the given input yields the output presented.
Wildly guessing and imaginatively extrapolating, I came up with
Code:
awk '
/VERTICAL/      {L = 0
                }
L               {printf "%1.1f ", $2
                }
/HORIZONTAL/    {L = 1
                }
END             {printf RS
                }
' $1

Please test and come back with th results.

The other issue is the error messages are being printed to stderr (fd 2), not stdout (fd 1) which might be the only one redirected.

Changing your original code you could add 0.001 to the number to have the shell printf round 0.05 up:

Code:
awk '/HORIZONTAL/,/VERTICAL/' $1 | sed '1d;$d' | awk -F " " 'NF>1{print $2 + 0.001}'| xargs printf '%1.1f\n'| tr -s "\n" " " |sed 's/ *$//'

As you seem to have some blank lines in your input you could also update RudiC's code to avoid a 0.00 result for blank lines like this:

Code:
awk '
/VERTICAL/      {L = 0
                }
L && NF > 1     {printf "%1.1f ", $2
                }
/HORIZONTAL/    {L = 1
                }
END             {printf RS
                }
' $1
