Lightbulb How to execute scripts at logout?

Hi,

We can execute scripts at X login time in Linux by placing scripts in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/ directory.

Can you suggest a method to execute scripts at X logout time?

trap the signal

try trapping the signal to execute a command/script.
The logoff signal is 0. So,
trap "echo GOODBYE" 0
will output goodbye while you exit. Use a command instead of echo.
