Perhaps something like

Code:
sftp ${USER}@${HOST} > /tmp/$$ <<EOF
cd $SRC_FOLDER/DSCOR
ls 
bye
EOF

( while IFS="" read -r SRC
do
        DST=${ARC_FOLDER}/DSCOR/$(basename "$SRC")
        echo rename $SRC $DST
done < /tmp/$$ 

echo bye ) | sftp ${USER}@${HOST}

rm -f /tmp/$$

The part in blue is a subshell which prints "rename" commands followed by "bye" once it's done, to be fed directly into sftp.

If sftp's output contains anything but filenames, you might want to process it to remove that.
