That can shrink to
Code:
lsdev -Cc disk | awk'/2810/ {print$1}' > /tmp/list.out

And if /tmp/list.out consists only of the disk names, then in the other part you can exclude them e.g. with

lspath | grep -vwf "/tmp/list.out"

or
Code:
lspv | grep -vwf "/tmp/list.out"

An example with an elegant while loop:

lspath |
 grep -vwf "/tmp/list.out" |
 while read status disk type
do
  echo "$disk"
  if [ "$status" != "Enabled" ] 
  then
    echo "Fail"
  else
    echo "Pass"
  fi
done
