Script not running in AutoSys
Hi,

I am having problems running a script from AutoSys. The script runs fine when I run it manually, but errors out when run from AutoSys.

Error:
db2: not found

In the script, we are directing a query to db2.

Query1.sql 01/01/2004 | db2 +p >> sql.out 2>&1

where Query1.sql is an executable file that has such commands:
print "connect to database"
print "delete from table1"
print "commit"

Would it not be possible to submit a query to db2, when running a job from AutoSys?

Any pointers would be helpful!

You need to set the PATH to db2 in the autosys profile on that box. You can do it on a global level by placing the PATH in /etc/auto.profile

There was a sme kind of an problem with my script. but script war in noway concerned with DB2. I think that it is the print command that is causing the problem. after i replaced with echo the roblem no longer persisted.
