Code:
find . -mtime +5 | xargs ls -ltr

alternatively

Code:
find . -mtime +5 -exec ls  {} \;

Or, more simply:
Code:
find . -mtime +5

Ex. remove over 5 days old *.log files from current directory, not from subdirs.
{} = put filename here.
Find & exec some cmd:
Code:
find . -maxdepth 1 -name "*.log" -mtime +5   -exec rm -f {}  \;

# mmin = modified
# amin access
# cmin created

Or if like to check minutes then
Code:
# over one hour old files here and subdirs
find . -name "*.tmp" -mmin +60  -exec rm -f {} \;

Or find new files, modified under 60 minutes
Code:
find . -name "*.tmp" -mmin -60
